These little guys are a mash up of two of my favorite things… a burger & a taco! Mmmm!
Makes 6 Sliders.
INGREDIENTS:
1 LB. Pederson’s Ground Bison
1 Packet Taco Seasoning
6 Slices Cheddar Cheese
3 TBS. Butter
6 Slider Buns
Guacamole
Sour Cream
Southwest Cabbage Slaw
Tomato Slices
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, combine ground bison and taco seasoning and mix well. Separate bison into 6 equal parts and shape patties.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook to desired doneness, flipping once halfway through cooking.
3. Top each patty with a slice of cheese 2 minutes before removing from the heat. Set patties aside.
4. Melt the butter in the skillet over medium-low heat. Place the slider buns cut side down in the melted butter and toast the buns, about 2 minutes each. Remove from heat.
5. Build your burger using your preferred taco toppings. We used guacamole, sour cream, Southwest cabbage slaw, and tomato.
